The Stella Canvas Tote began in the winter of 2019, when our founder Kate Nguyễn flew to Des Moines to visit her son and met the dog who lived next door — a quiet, watchful creature named Stella, gentle in a way that stayed with her after she came home.

The tote is made in cotton canvas with full-grain Vietnamese cowhide trim, soft enough to fold into a weekend, structured enough to carry a laptop through a working week. Handcrafted at Gallery de Neyuh's Saigon workshop, finished with light gold-plated hardware, and named for a dog who never knew a bag was named after her.
