The Saigon Lady is a frame top-handle bag inspired by the women of 1930s Saigon, the era when Vietnamese women first cropped their hair, parted it sideways and walked into the city in two-panel áo dài and Western shoes. The form is deliberately Western, a structured frame, an arched top handle, a neat closure under the lip; the bag is named for who carries ir. Handcrafted at Gallery de Neyuh's Saigon workshop, where it has been made by the same hands since 2009.
